Smooth decided to update one of the best treadmills out there, the Smooth 5.45 and for 2010 they came up with the Smooth 5.65 Treadmill. If this treadmill will be as good as the predecessor, only time can tell, but for sure that it has all the quality and features for it and more.
It still has the same core features of the Smooth 5.45 that will provide a good workout and performance levels that are good enough for walking and jogging. And it has more programs, 14 programs in total that are great for beginners, and not, that want to take treadmill exercises in an efficient way. It has a good heart rate control program with wireless heart rate strap, which control speed and incline in accordance to your heart rate.
The console on this model is much easier to read and brighter than the Smooth 5.45, and it has built in speed and incline controls. And a surprising feature, the heart rate chart, that lets you know where your heart rate should be at that point of your exercise, so that you keep yourself in that target area where your cardio workout will be more effective.
One thing that should be noticed is the fact that the construction of this treadmill is more sturdy that that of the 5.45, the max user weight has been increased by 25 pounds to 275 pounds, which shows that it is sturdier and the warranty shows how much support Smooth has for this product and believes in it, the 3 years on all parts warranty is one of the best in the industry.
