The NordicTrack A2550 Pro Treadmill is part of the 2010 catalog of NordicTrack, it has all the features that you need in a treadmill, but doesn’t take you to that extra mile that more expensive models can take you. It has a 2.5 HP DurX commercial grade motor, a 20’’ by 55’’ treadbelt and the ComfortShox cushioning system as highlights of features.

Plus the new iFit Live technology that allows you to connect to the internet, you can manage a profile online and there are workout videos available by Jillian Michaels, from the TV show Biggest Loser. But you have to pay extra for the iFit Live Module.

With the NordicTrack A2550 PRO Treadmill if you don’t want to pay more for the iFit Live Module you are stuck with a great selection of preset programs. The programs range weight loss, aerobics and performance goals. 16 programs grouped in 4 Distance Workouts, 4 Performance Workouts, 4 Weight Loss and 4 Timed Workouts.

The iFit live technology has great options, some may say distractions. From trails all over the world, custom fitness programs, workout downloads, online profile, 5K races with your Facebook friends, nutrition and activity tracker, motivational emails and messages, and much more. If only the iFit module would be included with the treadmill.

On the console you have an iPod compatible port, great for motivation, listening to your favorite music. The console also has a Hi resolution Grafixx display composed of 2 LCD windows. It keeps you updated with your distance, time, speed, pulse and calories burned.

The one touch controls are easy to use and much better than other controls you regularly see in treadmills. The A2250 Pro was designed to save space and it can be folded near a vertical position. And it is also an affordable option if you want to save money; its price tag comes below $1000.
