Giving me my 60″ by 20″ belt is definitely a good start towards making sure this machine is a hit. Unfortunately it is a commonly held consensus that a big belt means a machine needs a powerful motor to support the longer belt, obviously HealthRider and Icon don’t subscribe to this believe as they seem to always omit the a powerful motor even when they offer a large track. The Healthrider Club 120T does however contain a number of great features.

The big advantage of HealthRider machines is that almost all of them have ifit compatibility. The newer machines also have a number of inbuilt Ifit programs for immediate use on the machine without having to puchase any additional Ifit card. The Ifit programs add the ability to work harder and longer through the use of personal trainer created inspiration and encouragement. When working alone seems difficult there is the added advantage of a personal trainer, right in your treadmill. Add a fan to make the work out more bearable and that is the healthrider plan to winning consumers’ hearts.
Nice Design, Poor Execution
For me, and most professional reviewers, the 2 most important things a treadmill can do is deliver a good, solid workout for most individuals and to carry the warranty and durability to guarantee the machine will last. The H120T has great features bust does not have the warranty to tell the user this machine will be with them, today, tomorrow, and next year. It also lacks the motor to support its 60″ by 20″ belt athigh speed. As with most underpowered treadmills, the H120T is load and not nealry as smooth as I would like it to be at high speed.
The fact that the H120T does not function well at high speed means it is not a running treadmill, however, it does not mean that is a truly horrible treadmill. In fact it is quite enjoyable as a light jogger, like many HealthRiders’ are, and provides a a value at its $1000 direct price. The 60″ x 20″ belt means that taller users can feel comfortable walking and jogging on this machine and don’t need to adjust their natural stride to do so. It is however disappointing that people looking to truly run on this machine are left wanting with this machine.
Not Bad For The Money
HealthRider, like many other Icon Brands, has a tendency to overprice their machines. The MSRP you see is absolutely rediculous and puts their machines in the price range of much better machines. With the reduced price on the H120T, HealthRider is able to deliver a healthy dose of value. The H120T is an enjoyable, easy to use machine, which is a great option for those looking for a $1000 treadmill and are not looking for the highest speeds available on a treadmill.
