While the Phoenix 98007 Easy-Up Motorized Treadmill does offer numerous programs and features, it still struggles on the performance. Despite a patented frame design that helps absorb the impact during use and moderates the force on joints and ankles when exercising, the treadmill has received criticism from its users.
Phoenix 98007 showcases 4-Window LCD displays on the console for speed, distance, time and calories burned. The menu is programmable and allows you to set 3 goals for time, distances and calories and allows 3 Pre-Set Variable Speed Programs. It also carries a patented Safety Key System that can be pulled to stop which provides safety for all. Above all the treadmill is foldable and can be locked in the folded position for easy storage. I bought this treadmill after looking high and low for a space saving, compact, motorized treadmill. After much thought I decided to give it a go and I’m glad that I did. Shipping was super fast, and the treadmill was packed very well.
It came pretty much fully assembled so all that you had to do really is screw in your handle bars and some little covers and you’re pretty much done. I was able to get a good brisk walk at 4 mph and the tread stayed where it should. Since I gave away my huge Proform treadmill because I moved and it was too big and became a space issue or me, I wanted to keep up my workouts but have someone small enough that a “girl” could store away without any problems.
It fold completely flat, seriously a great feature because most treadmills have the arms that extend out and cannot be moved so this was a plus for me. For the price, it’s a super value and it works great. Did I mention it’s quiet?
However, some users have rather been unhappy with the plastic frame and the noises. Another person said…
I purchased this item for my parents who are getting old. Wanted to provide them with an easy to use and store treadmill. It was mostly made of plastic, but difficult to pick up and fold. I looked at other treadmills in stores that were much heavier, durable, but yet easier to lift and fold than this one made of plastic. Worse, after using it for about 5 minutes it stopped working.
