When I look at a treadmill that is built this solidly and see it is from Horizon I am forced to take a double take. Again, the warranty is not on par with the top brands, but who cares when it is a Horizon and has got to be cheaper than the better brands, right?
When you see the Horizon T6 treadmill price tag your opion will change, as mine did. The silver lining is that this solidly build, properly powered, running, yes running treadmill is often on sale. Even though the MSRP is $2200 it is sold at several retailers and they ultimately determine selling price.

The tri-zone cushioning is a good feature, it is one that is built into the best treadmills and is great at reducing impact without sacrificing a solid running surface and push off. Un fortunately besides having a few basic programs is a tad bland for the price tag.
Solid Machine, But At What Cost?
Price is one thing, giving up on the idea of a truly well rounded machine is another. The T6 provides a really solid platform for running and has power enough to provide quality, reliable workouts. The huge let down with this machine that it carries a large price without added any realy value to the machine except that it performs well, performing well is an expectation of mine for every machine even though many don’t meet it. Entertainment is lacking, as in warranty, and this is something that really takes away from a really solid performance.
The console is feature rich and easy to read. It makes the machine look as though the machine has a lot going on, but also makes it blatantly obvious thatentertainment and comfort features are lacking. Etertainment and comfort are secondary to performance, especially when the price of the machine is low. In my mind however, high priced treadmills must address higher needs of the user if they are to earn their price tag, this machine simply doesn’t do that.
There Are Better Machines For Less
I am so very happy that Horizon is able to build an impressively powerful and stable machine. The use of such a powerful motor elivates Horizon to a place that makes the possibility of them becoming a super brand a possibility, but the other features on the machine tarnish that.
At a bargain price, say 60% off, this would be a great machine, and a good machine at hald its price, but to compete with the best $2200 machines Horizon will have to offer a better warranty, good entertainment, and convenient comfort features like fans and better comfort grip.
Overall, without its price, the Horizon T6 treadmill is enjoyable, but at its price it falls very flat and leaves a lot to be desired.
