Along with Sole treadmills, which is also in Dyaco's portfolio, assures these products will continue to impress in the fitness market in the many years to come.

Spirit treadmills are designed with simplicity in mind. All their machines have nothing fancy, just the basic features that perform with utmost dependability. Their products bore their more than 25 years experience of providing durable, efficient and quality treadmills to the fitness market.

Several years ago, as part of the company's efforts to save on cost, they moved to Taiwan. But before they can assess the effect of the move, where Spirit's quality control began to suffer. Dyaco came in to buy a major stake in the company. Spirit treadmills now have a new lease in life and have began to compete with the leaders in the competitive treadmill market.

Spirit TreadmillsLike Sole, Spirit are making sure that quality components are used in every treadmill. This philosophy ensures that the treadmill will last for a long time. For a start, Spirit uses 1" decks that help support overweight users, where these products are designed for in the first place. Next are the 2.5" rollers, which is a minimum for all Spirit's product line. The big rollers will extend the life of the other major components of the machine like the belt, motor and bearings.

Except for this brand's low-end model, the Z8, Spirit installed more than adequate motor capacity for their treadmills, often exceeding their intended use. The motors across their lineup are rated at 3.0HP continuous duty. All Spirit Fitness machines are backed with a 20-30 year warranty on motors and up to 5 years on parts and only a year on labor. Sole offers an extra year on labor.

Spirit treadmills are available starting from the $1,000 Spirit Z88 up to the $2,500 Spirit Z500. If you look into other brands, this prices are tough to beat. Most Spirit treadmills are sold in major fitness specialty stores and other other online vendors, whereas the Sole machines are sold exclusively through Dick's Sporting Goods and online through Amazon.com and through their official website.

Overall, Spirit treadmills have quality written all over it. The timely support from Dyaco has revitalized this product line along with Sole. Spirit received many good reviews for treadmills in the $1,000 to $2,000 price range. In choosing Spirit, you can be sure of a machine built to last and made only of the best commercially available components. For those who want to own a machine with this quality, look no further than this review.
