Landice Treadmill Reviews

Landice has specialized in making treadmills for more than 35 years. Since 1967, the company has excelled in manufacturing commercial and high end home treadmills only. As an experienced company, they have become a popular choice for gyms, health clubs and home users with 50,000 treadmills sold so far. The quality of their treadmills are evidenced by them receiving numerous "Best Buy" awards and high ratings from Runners' World, Consumer Buy, Men's Fitness, among others.

Landice treadmills are highly rated for quality in the industry. The company does not compromise, and have been using only commercial grade components on all their machines. To highlight Landice strength over their competition, we need to look to each of these:

All Landice treadmills are using 3.0HP continuous duty motors.

Landice is using 4-ply tread belts, twice than the nearest competition. It is supported by the VFX (Variable Flex) and Orthopaedic cushioning, which is 5 and 7 times softer than grass, respectively. The cushioning supports vertical direction only, not side-to-side movements, thus protecting users from unnecessary foot and joint injury.

To emphasize its quality of construction, all Landice treadmills are backed by a lifetime warranty for home users, that to our surprise, can also be extended to the next owner. Commercial warranty is five years though.

The frame is made of aircraft grade steel and miles better than the standard welded frame found in most high-end treadmills. The frame can handle the harshest workout treadmills can be put into. Competition runners will love this feature available in Landice machines.

The maximum user weight exceed the 300lb mark (400 to 500lbs actual).

Please take note of this important electrical information that all Landice LTD come in 110 volts and Clubs come in 220 volts. Home users who opt to purchase the Club model, be sure to request the 110 volt version.

Considering all these features, it is very obvious that price will be the only drawback. However, for $2,000 there are other brands like Sole, which needs considering. Landice has produced high end treadmills which maybe is beyond the needs of most walkers or runners need in a home treadmill. These machines would best fit the needs of a small commercial gym. For the more serious runners this is a dream machine.
